About The Role

Make a real impact – and keep things moving

At Compass Community, we support children and young people to thrive in specialist education settings. Behind every successful placement is a fast, efficient and well-managed admissions process and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Admissions Coordinator to manage our referral pipelines, keep momentum across consultations, and ensure no opportunity is missed. This is a role for someone who thrives on pace, loves systems and data, and takes pride in getting things over the line.

This is a full-time hybrid role, working 40 hours per week, with travel to Compass Community Schools. The closing date is Friday 15th, with interviews scheduled for Monday 18th and Friday 22nd May.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll sit at the heart of our admissions process coordinating activity, managing pipelines and working closely with parents, schools and Local Authorities to turn consultations into an admission of a learner into a Compass School.

  • Managing and progressing a high-volume pipeline of referrals and consultations
  • Keeping everything moving — chasing actions, removing blockers and driving pace
  • Accurately logging and tracking all activity within our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Working closely with Headteachers, Local Authorities and parents to coordinate responses
  • Producing clear pipeline reports, highlighting risks, delays and opportunities

What success looks like

  • Referrals are progressed quickly, with minimal delays
  • Strong, well-managed pipelines with clear visibility at all times
  • High conversion of consultations into admissions
  • Schools are supported to achieve and sustain occupancy
  • Data is accurate, reliable and actionable
  • Stakeholders are responsive, aligned and well-coordinated

What we’re looking for

This isn’t a passive admin role we need someone who takes ownership, drives activity and is comfortable working at pace.

  • Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced, target or process-driven environment
  • Experience managing pipelines, workflows or case tracking
  • Confident using CRM systems (Salesforce experience a bonus)
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proactive and persistent — you’re not afraid to chase and challenge
  • Comfortable working to KPIs and delivering results

Why join Compass Community?

  • Be part of a mission-driven organisation improving outcomes for children
  • Work in a role where your impact is visible and measurable
  • Join a growing organisation with opportunity to shape processes and systems
  • Collaborative, supportive team environment

Interested?

If you’re someone who thrives on organisation, pace and delivering results and you want your work to genuinely make a difference  we’d love to hear from you.
